California democrat congressman Adam Schiff is a liar based upon the evidence presented in the John Durham Special Counsel report. Official congressional action was proposed to hold Schiff accountable for his dishonesty. Twenty republicans voted to save Schiff.
Schiff led the congressional “Russiagate” investigation of President Trump. The allegations were so vile, that an impartial Special Counsel had to be appointed. It took several years, but the Special Counsel finally released his findings on May 12, 2023.
The investigation concluded that the accusations against Trump were false, slanderous and even included FBI misconduct.
The Response
On June 9, 2023, Florida congressional representative Anna Paulina Luna,
and 10 congressional cosponsors, presented House Resolution 489 [118th Congress] censuring, condemning and fining Schiff for lying and misleading the American people. The democrats presented a motion to table (kill) the resolution on June 14, 2023. The democrats all voted unanimously to kill the bill. The republican MAJORITY mustered 196 votes to move the bill forward. 20 republicans voted with the democrats. Had these republicans voted with their party, Schiff would have been punished for his fabrications and falsehoods. Instead, he faces no consequences for his lies and the attempted political assassination of President Trump.
